MARJORIE HEIL (nee Brockhurst), age 90, passed away June 27, 2015 at Burton Health Care. She was born in Ashtabula on September 12, 1924 to the late Albert and Mary (nee Clayton) Brockhurst. She lived in Ashtabula, Perry and West Farmington.
Mrs. Heil was a baker and cake decorator for the Swedish Pastry shop in Ashtabula for over 30 years. She loved to crochet, knit and travel with her husband. She will be remembered for being a very strong willed and hardworking woman who loved her family very much.
Marjorie was the beloved mother of Tom (wife Diane) of Perry, Jerry (wife Becki) of Jefferson, Dennis (wife Bobbi) of Ashtabula and Bonnie Prosser (husband Joe) of West Farmington and a devoted grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of many.
Mrs. Heil is preceded in death by husband Howard, who died in 1985, a brother Albert Brockhurst and a sister Arlene Murphy.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 1pm at the
DeJohn Funeral Home & Crematory of Chardon (formerly Ritondaro) 126 South St. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square). Burial following at Perry Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Marjorie at the FUNERAL HOME from THURSDAY 12 -1pm.
