Marjorie Ann Lloyd

MARJORIE ANN LLOYD age 93, cherished daughter of Harold and Helena (nee O’ Brian) Lloyd; dearest sister of Helen Lloyd Fildew (husband John); dear aunt and great-aunt of many. U.S. Navy Veteran.

Marjorie was born January 24, 1924 in Cleveland and passed away November 15, 2017 in Grosse Pointe Park, MI where she resided. She earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Case Western Reserve University. Marjorie became a Lieutenant Commander in the Korean War and continued to serve in the Navy Reserves. She was a member of the Ohio Nurses Association and retired as a nurse and head of the Health Department at Key Bank in Cleveland. Marjorie will be dearly missed.

Contributions may be made in memory of Marjorie to St. Jerome’s Church. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, November 25, 2017 at St. Jerome’s Church 15000 Lake Shore Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44110 at 10 AM. Burial following with Military Honors at Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Marjorie at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 4-8 PM.
