Marisa L. Masiello

MARISA L. MASIELLO (nee Liuzzo) age 59, beloved wife for 33 years of Ronald; cherished daughter of the late Giuseppe and Nunziata “Nancy” (nee Gullotti) Liuzzo; dearest sister of Nino Liuzzo (wife Maria Rose), Maria DiCenso (husband Fred), Zina Mroczka (husband Jeffrey) and Nunzio Liuzzo; dear aunt, great-aunt, and cousin of many.

Marisa was born in Italy on July 29, 1960, and passed away on December 18, 2019. After moving to the United States in 1964, Marisa grew up in Mayfield Heights and graduated from Mayfield High School in 1978. She earned a master’s degree at the Cleveland Institute of Art, and enjoyed making metal jewelry. She owned and operated X S Self Storage in Montville, where she lived. Marisa had many outdoor hobbies, including gardening, hiking, camping, bicycling, motorcycling, and fishing. She loved Christmas, and was dedicated to her family, especially her beloved nieces and nephews. Marisa was very caring and giving. A kind, gentle soul, she was also funny and outgoing, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Contributions may be made in memory of Marisa to The Cleveland Institute of Art. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Celebration of Life Service Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 7 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Marisa at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 3-7 PM.
