MARILYN ANN NICHOLAS (nee Johnson) age 76, beloved wife for 56 years of Robert; cherished daughter of the late Harry and Agnes (nee Karaba) Johnson; dearest sister of Cheryl Gazso (husband George, deceased), Jacqueline Puhalsky, Richard Johnson (wife Denise), and Michelle Brant (husband Rick); treasured sister-in-law of the late Harry Nicholas and Janet Nicholas; special family member of the late Joe Tirch; dear aunt and friend of many.

Marilyn was born in Cleveland on February 22, 1946 and passed away on August 31, 2022. She graduated from Eastlake North High School in 1964. Marilyn worked at Crucible Steel for 30 years, and owned Newbury Printing for 20 years. She was active with the Burton Chamber of Commerce. She enjoyed her involvement with the business community and serving her customers. Marilyn’s hobbies included visiting casinos and listening to classic country music from the 50s and 60s. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with family, especially at the holidays. Marilyn loved living and fought hard to fight her cancer. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Prayers of Christian Burial Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 10 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME.

Burial following at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Marilyn at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  TUESDAY 4-8 PM.
