Marija Strmac

MARIJA STRMAC (nee Crljenica) age 90; beloved wife of the late Danijel; loving mother of Nikola (wife Marica), Ankica Jelenic (husband Stjepan) and Slavica Perko (husband Joze); devoted grandmother of Denis Strmac (wife Snjezana), Igor Strmac (wife Maja), Alen Jelenic (wife Ivana), Marin Jelenic (wife Goga), Lydia DiClemente (husband Matthew), Danijela Vlach (husband Geoff) and great-grandmother of Nadia, Gefforey, Lucas, Christian, Allen, Nikola, Luka, Karla, Lucia, and Vik; cherished daughter of the late Janko and Mare (nee Hranilovic) Crljenica; dearest sister of the late Jela Crljenica, Nikola Crljenica and Ana Sertic.

Marija was born on August 24, 1926 in Restovo, Croatia and passed away on December 9, 2016. She was 16 year resident of Concord previously of Cleveland. Marija was a 2 year parishioner of St. Bede Catholic Church and a lifetime member of St. Vitus Catholic Church. She never liked to sit still or be home alone. Marija loved game shows, gardening, and being outdoors. She received the most enjoyment in life from her babies and grandchildren. Marija enjoyed attending church, shopping, and family gatherings. She was very clean and organized. Marija liked people, she was always smiling, and a great cook. Marija will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at St. Bede the Venerable Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Marija at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME 28890 CHARDON RD. (BETWEEN BISHOP RD AND RT. 91) WILLOUGHBY HILLS  TUESDAY 4-7 PM.
