Marija Brodnick

MARIJA BRODNICK (nee Zupancic) age 96, beloved wife of the late John; loving step-mother of John (wife Doris), Robert (wife Hillary) and James (wife Janice).

Marija was born on July 9, 1925 in Grosuplje, Slovenia and passed away on December 14, 2021. She moved to Cleveland from Slovenia in 1969 and was a member of St. Felicitas Catholic Church and later a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby. Marija was a homemaker and member of Pristava. She loved gardening, sewing, making dolls, traveling, cooking, and baking. Marija enjoyed listening to polkas. She will be remembered most as a strong willed, independent, and social woman who had a sense of humor. Marija will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, December 20, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Marija at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 1-5 PM.
