Marie Mcquistion

Marie Christine McQuistion (nee Negulis), age 83, of Chardon, died on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland. She was born in Canton on December 3, 1930 to the late William and Mary Margaret (nee Folmer) Negulis. Marie worked for the City of Chardon at the Chardon Police Department since 1968 as a domestic Engineer. She was a member of the Irish American Quilters of Euclid, which created quilts for various charity events. She also enjoyed teaching Sunday school, baking, cooking and sewing.

Marie is survived by her children, Linda Mosley, Jeffery and Thomas all of Chardon and Susan (Phil) Barnes of Concord; grandchildren, Steven (Danijela) Mosley of Chardon and Jennifer Mosley of Concord; great-grandchildren, Luke Mosley and Gavin Segeleon; four sisters and two brothers.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband David; son, Jack; two sisters and two brothers.

Prayers of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday, October 6, 2014 at THE DEJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro) 126 SOUTH ST. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square). Burial following in Chardon Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Marie at the funeral home SUNDAY 2-6 PM.
