MARIE EPPICH, age 97, beloved daughter of the late Johann and Josefa (nee Morscher) Eppich; cherished sister of Pauline Eppich of Germany and the late John, Louis, Frank, Joseph and Rosa Eppich; dearest friend of Hilde Kobetitsch and Joseph and Colleen Schauer; dear aunt, great-aunt and cousin of many.
Marie was born in Altlag, Gottschee (Austria) the former Yugoslavia and now Slovenia on June 30, 1918 and went to the Lord on December 31, 2015. She was a resident of Mayfield Heights since 1980 formerly residing in Cleveland. Marie came to the United Stated in 1950, she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the E.O.U.V. club in Cleveland for 62 years. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Marie worked for National Screw as an assembler. In her free time Marie loved to crochet afghans, play bingo and gardening. She loved to make strudel and polka dance. Marie was a good friend to many and loved by all. She will be remembered most as a kind, generous, and religious woman. Marie was a person you loved to be with. She was always positive, inventive and intelligent.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, January 7, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Friends will be received to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Marie at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) THURSDAY MORNING 8:30 – 9:30 AM.
