MARIE E. KOTAR (nee Tursic) age 89, beloved wife for 55 1/2 years of the late Edward; loving mother of Diane Polley (husband Dennis, DO); cherished daughter of the late Lawrence and Anna (nee Karan) Tursic; dearest sister of Janet Turjan (husband Fred, deceased), Margaret Pipan (husband Stephen), Ed Tursic, and the late Betty Skedel (husband Red, deceased), and Dorothy Fink (husband Benny, deceased) and the late Ronald; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Marie was born on April 6, 1930 in Johnstown Pennsylvania and passed away on June 3, 2019. She was a resident of Wickliffe since 1963, previously Cleveland and was a parishioner of St. Vitus Catholic Church. Marie belonged to many groups and organizations including KSKJ, SNPJ, and the Pensioners for Holmes and St. Clair. She graduated high school in Pennsylvania and worked as a key punch operator at Lubrizol. Marie greatly enjoyed to snow ski, play golf and tennis in her free time. She also loved to shop and travel, including her many cruises and trips to Europe, and all-inclusive to Punta Cana. Marie enjoyed listening to Polka Music and Waltzes. She was very social, an excellent baker, and the very best dressed. Marie was devoted to her faith and family. She had a great sense of humor and was giving and selfless. Marie will be dearly missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Vitus Catholic Church, 6019 Lausche Ave., Cleveland, OH 44103. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Marie at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY, June 14, 4-8 PM.
