Marie D. Degeorge

MARIE D. DEGEORGE (nee Credico) age 96, beloved wife of the late Americo; loving mother of Gary (wife Becky) and Gayle (wife Pat White); devoted grandmother of Stefanie and Valerie Grossman; cherished daughter of the late Domenic and Jean (nee Dobnikar) Credico; dearest sister of Gloria Munson (husband Lamont deceased) and the late Irene Schepis (husband Albert deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Marie was born on November 19, 1927, and passed away on her 96^th birthday on November 19, 2023. She graduated from Collinwood High School in 1945. Marie and Americo were married February 12, 1949, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. They had two children and raised their family in Cleveland. Marie enjoyed being a homemaker. She loved card making and was an avid Cleveland sports fan including the Indians, Browns and Cavs. She was a member of the I.S.D.A. Avanti Amerita Lodge #133 and The Euclid Homemakers Club. She spent time as a member of St. Margaret Mary and St. Felicitas Catholic Churches. Her favorite music to listen to was Michael Buble and Frank Sinatra. Her loving family describes her as sociable, giving, generous and humorous. She was a good and caring neighbor as well. Marie will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.

Prayers of Christian Burial Tuesday November 28, 2023, at 12 Noon at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Marie at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY MORNING from 10-12 Noon.
