Marie Cornelius

Marie E. Cornelius (nee Koren), age 95; beloved wife of the late Ernest; cherished daughter of the late Susan (nee Yusko) and Stephen Koren; loving sister of the late Joseph (wife Geraldine, deceased) and Eleanor Spisak (husband John, deceased); dearest aunt of John (wife Judy), Michael and the late Richard Spisak and many other nieces and nephews; dear sister-in-law of Raymond and Charlotte Cornelius.

Marie was born May 7, 1920 in Cleveland and passed away on September 27, 2015. She was a resident of Chardon since 1991 formerly of South Carolina. Marie belonged to the Chardon Senior Center. She was a retired receptionist with Addressograph-Multigraph Corporation. Marie enjoyed horseback riding and family gatherings in the country by the river. Her family will remember Marie as a sweet and caring lady.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 3, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church 401 North Street, Chardon at 10 AM. Burial following in All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Marie at THE DEJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro) 126 SOUTH ST. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) FRIDAY 5-7 PM.
