MARIAN H. MISCH (nee Kuttner) age 97, beloved wife of the late Paul; loving mother of Phillip (wife Bonita, deceased), John (wife Jacqueline), Elaine Durrance, Matthew (wife Kathy), Clare O’Brien (husband William, deceased), Michael (wife Jeannine) and Mark (wife Nicole); devoted grandmother of 31, great-grandmother of 66 and great-great grandmother of 8; cherished daughter of the late Gilmore and Clara (nee Kile) Kuttner.
Marian was born August 7, 1920 in Chicago, Ohio and passed away January 5, 2018 in Newbury at Holly Hill nursing home where she was a resident for 12 years. She was a parishioner of St. Helen Catholic Church in Newbury and St. Justin Martyr in Eastlake. Marian was a member of the Avez Maria Guild at St. Justin Martyr and the Red Hat Society. She attended Shaw High School and was a homemaker for her family. Marian was an avid reader who loved crafts, dancing, and gardening. She was a quick learner who was very social, outgoing, witty and funny. Marian had a great sense of humor, but she was also very strong willed and direct, everyone always knew where they stood with her. Marian’s family and faith were the center of her life and she will be dearly missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at St. Helen Catholic Church at 10AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Marian at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) MONDAY 3-7 PM.
