Marian E. Dickard

Marian E. Dickard (nee Burke) age 87. Beloved wife of Lester. Dear mother of Charlene “Char” Hartson (husband Cliff), Jack (wife Nicole) and Jim. Loving grandmother of Jessica Dickard and stepgrandmother of Kyle Hartson. Dear sister of the late Lillian and Donald Burke.

Marian of Bratenahl and formerly of Euclid, passed away July 30, 2013 at Hospice House. She was born July 27, 1926, in Cleveland.

Marian devoted much time volunteering at Hospice House, walking dogs for the Euclid dog shelter, being a candy striper at Lake East Hospital and being a past president of the Clyde C. Hadden Elementary School PTA, in Painesville. She also enjoyed needlepoint, racquetball, pottery, playing the piano and playing bridge.
A homemaker, Marian most enjoyed being a mother and caring for her children.

Family suggests contributions may be made in Marian’s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair. Cleveland, 44110 or to the Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Rd., Russell, OH 44072.

Private family interment at All Souls Cemetery. Tribute Service Sunday, August 4th at 6 PM, at the MULLALLY FUNERAL HOME located in the DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) where the family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Marian Sunday 4-6 PM.
