Maria Horvath

MARIA HORVATH (nee Horvath) age 80, beloved wife for 61 years of the late Erno; loving mother of Mary Ann and Angie; devoted grandmother of Nicole Bukovec (Eric), Lindsey Venesky (Michael) and great-grandmother of Annalee, Emerson, Dominic, and Eliza; cherished daughter of the late Janos and Anna (nee Mehringer) Horvath; treasured sister of the late Imre (Maria) and Janos Horvath (Agnes); dearest aunt of Imre, Agi, and Orsolya; many other family members in Hungary.

Maria was born on July 22, 1938 in Beb, Hungary and passed away on April 3, 2019 surrounded by her family. Prior to raising a family, she worked many years as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially when her grandchildren and great grandchildren were visiting. She will be dearly missed.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Maria at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  MONDAY 11AM – 1PM with Prayers of Christian Burial to follow at 1PM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.
