Maria Elo

MARIA ELO (nee Sáling) age 84, loving mother of Sheila Elo and Diana Kazmierczak (husband Steve); devoted grandmother of Catie and Connor; cherished daughter of Janos and Maria Sáling.

Maria Elo, our only parent dedicated her life to being the best single parent, after she became widowed 49 years ago, in times when it was not so easily appreciated or acceptable. She worked tirelessly as a very sought-after seamstress. She was very proud of her accomplishments and it showed. No task was too big or too small. Our Mom’s heart showed in everything she did. She loved going to the parks hunting for that 4 leaf clover, playing and befriending all four legged friends and their owners. With all that said, the greatest pride in her life was us, her family. She loved us all and gave to us tirelessly unconditionally. Mom, grandma, Maria we will miss you but you will never be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Maria’s memory to a charity of your choice. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church 5384 Wilson Mills Rd, Cleveland, OH 44143 at 10:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Maria at the Church, Wednesday 9:30 AM.
