Maria Becerra

Maria Lourdes Becerra, 92, of Willoughby Hills, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016. She was born January 6, 1924 in Estacion Trinidad El Refugio De Los Sauces, Leon GTO, Mexico. She came to Cleveland in 1944 and moved to Willoughby Hills in 2007. She had a good heart and her door was always open to anyone who needed help. Until her final hours she was more concerned about the well being of her family than herself.

She is survived by her children: Josefina Krizan (Ante), Maria Gloria Chresos (Anthony, deceased), Esperanza Pekar (Mario, deceased), Amparo, and Jesus Jr.; her grandchildren: Mary Ann Kulla (Ronald), Jeanie Skuza (Edward), Manda Krizan, Ante Krizan (Tina); and 2 great grandchildren; and her siblings: Antonio, Emilio, Luise, and Agustin Lopez-Flores; and many nephews and nieces in Mexico and the U.S.

She is preceded death by her husband, Jesus Sr.; her children: David, Esperanza and David; her son-in-laws: Anthony Chresos and Mario Pekar; her parents: Manuel and Julia Lopez de Flores; and her siblings: Maria, Bartolo, and Guadalupe Lopez-Flores.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Maria at the DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91), Monday, July 11 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Tuesday, 10 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 15519 Holmes Ave, Cleveland, 44110. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Huntington’s Disease, hdsa.org or St. Mary’s Building Fund.
