MARIA C. ALEXANDER (nee Tusoch) age 68, beloved wife for 45 years of Mark; loving mother of Brian (wife Caitlin) and Christine Kletecka (husband Jay); devoted grandmother “Nommie” of AJ, Carly, Jack, Lincoln, and twins Hayes and Reagan; cherished daughter of Emma (nee Parks) and the late Patsy Tusoch; dearest sister of the late John Tusoch; treasured sister-in-law of Paula and Ron Ferriell, David and Traci Alexander, Bruce and Sherri Alexander and the late Diane Craig (husband Ralph); survived by her canine companion Hudson and feline companion Winnie.

Maria was born on January 20, 1955, and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 11, 2024. Maria grew up in South Euclid and attended St. Margaret Mary Catholic Grade School and Church then graduated from Regina High School in 1973. She graduated from Bowling Green State University where she was a little sister of TKE. Maria had resided in Richmond Heights since 1979. She was a volunteer for the Richmond Heights Boosters.

Maria was a homemaker but had spent some time in sales and retail. Her hobbies included photography, cooking, baking and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Maria was a fan of Cleveland Sports and Classic Rock. She found her greatest enjoyment in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Maria’s family will lovingly remember her for having a great sense of humor, being devoted to her family and for her great love of animals.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at St. Noel Catholic Church 35200 Chardon Rd, Willoughby Hills at 11 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Maria at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY from 2-4 & 5-8 PM and WEDNESDAY MORNING from 9:30-10:30AM.
