Margaret Zakraysek

MARGARET J. ZAKRAYSEK, (nee Slivenik). age 90. Beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Loving mother of Dennis J. (wife Tracy). Devoted grandmother of Amanda and Jeffrey. Cherished daughter of the late John and Mary (nee Andreyo) Slivenik. Dear sister of Anne Volcjak and  the late Michael, Gerald and John Slivenik, and  Mary Rodgers. Member of the SNJP.

Margaret was born June 26, 1925 in Beaverdale, Pennsylvania and passed away April 19, 2016 in Mentor, Ohio.  She previously resided in South Euclid for 52 years.  Margaret took great pride in her family and home.  She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and bingo.  Margaret got the most joy in life out of her grandchildren and her feline companions.  She will be remembered for her cheerful, kind, generous and friendly nature.  Margaret was well-liked, always had a kind word to say and will be greatly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial April 23, 2016 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish 1545 S. Green Rd., South Euclid, at 9:30 AM. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Margaret at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) FRIDAY 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
