MARGARET "PEGGY" L. STRAIGHT (nee Harris) age 74, beloved wife for 38 years of Robert "Bob"; loving mother of Andrew; cherished daughter of the late Ellery and Liz (nee Bassett) Harris; dearest sister of Barbara Akers (husband Bruce), Jo Moser (husband Harry), Susan Harris, Bob Harris (wife Lora), John Harris (wife Sherry), and the late Richard "Buck" Harris (wife Anna, deceased), Dan (wife Susan), and Tom (wife Ann); treasured sister-in-law of Connie and Dale (deceased), and Steve Kullman; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Peggy, born on January 1, 1950, had the distinction of being a New Year's baby. She was also known as hardworking, having worked more than 35 years as a medical technologist for University Hospitals. During well-earned vacations, her objective was to travel with her family, which took her to Disneyland, Maine, Seattle, fishing in Canada. Around the house, she gravitated toward her interests in photography and flower gardening. However, nothing in life was more enjoyable for Peggy than being with her family. She was truly devoted to her husband and son, and she showed a loving interest in all those she knew. As a proud mother, she was endlessly supportive of her son's role as a coach and enjoyed attending all his games. Peggy passed away on July 23, 2024, and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Peggy Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9AM - 12Noon at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)

A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 12 Noon at THE FUNERAL HOME.
