Margaret M. “Peggy” O’Neill

MARGARET M. “PEGGY’ O’NEILL age 78, cherished daughter of the late Harold and Gertrude (nee Flecknoe); dearest sister of James (Sherry) and Thomas (Judy) and the late Rev. William, Joan May and Dennis; dear aunt and great aunt of many.

Peggy was born on December 15, 1944 and passed away on August 18, 2023. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and lived in Lyndhurst for over 30 years. She spent the last 7 years residing in Bedford at Light of Hearts Villa where she was lovingly cared for. Peggy was a faithful member of St. Clare Church for over 40 years and served there as a Eucharistic Minister and lecturer. She was an enthusiastic pro-life supporter. She also worked at St. Clare in housekeeping. Prior to that, Peggy was a beautician. Peggy enjoyed reading, television, and movies. She was a fan of Rock’n’Roll, especially the Beatles.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Peggy’s memory to St. Clare Church, 5659 Mayfield Rd, Cleveland, OH 44124.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday August 25, 2023, at 10 AM at St. Clare Church. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Peggy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91)  FRIDAY MORNING 8:30-9:30 AM.
