Margaret M. “Minnie” Chiancone (Scaccia)

MARGARET M. “MINNIE” CHIANCONE (nee Scaccia), age 85. Beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Loving mother of Richard (deceased) (wife Fran), Denise Agresta (husband Tom, Sr, deceased) and Anthony J., Jr (wife Loretta). Devoted grandmother of Christopher (wife Bernadette), Richie and Amanda (Lisa) Chiancone, Tom, Jr (wife Jennifer), Ron (wife Jennifer) and Nick Agresta (wife Amanda), Anthony III, Michael, Matthew and Krystin Chiancone and great-grandmother of Rachel, Jacob, Victoria, Nicholas, Guido, Victor, Carmen, Brandon, Joey, Harley, Gianna and Gabriella. Cherished daughter of the late Orazio and Vincenza (nee Botacelli) Scaccia. .Dearest sister of the late Frances Molli, Theresa Montani, Betty Chiudioni, Edith Portante, Joseph and Albert Scaccia (wife Eleanor). Dear sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt of many.

Previously a resident of South Euclid and a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Minnie lived in Aurora for about six months. She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, playing cards and listening to country music. Her family will remember her as strong, courageous, caring, loving and very family-oriented.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 11:30 AM. Entombment following at All Souls Mausoleum. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Minnie at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) MONDAY 2-4 and 5-8 PM.
