Margaret M. Calarco

MARGARET M. CALARCO (nee Potenza) age 83; beloved wife of the late Carl (Joseph); loving mother of Margaret “Marge”, Joanne Maguire (husband Philip) and Marie; devoted grandmother of Kathleen and Kelly Maguire; cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (nee Rinella) Potenza; dearest sister of Mary Cangelosi, Adele Wolinski (husband Rick) and the late Joseph Potenza (wife Louise) Dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Marge was a resident of Cleveland, Garfield, North Royalton, Parma and Olmsted Falls over the course of her life. She was a member of St. Albert the Great church for 18 years. A baker at Casa d’Angelo Restaurant, she enjoyed baking, making cookies and decorating cakes – which she often did for many special occasions. In her free time, she loved family gatherings with her grandchildren, daughters and son-in-law Phil and listening to Johnny Mathis and Barry Manilow. She will be fondly remembered as a strong, caring, generous, compassionate woman who was funny and friendly to everyone she met.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at St. Basil Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio at 10:00 AM. Burial following at All Saints Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Marge at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 W. AURORA RD. (OHIO RTE 82) SAGAMORE HILLS on TUESDAY from 2:00 to 4:00 and 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
