MARGARET I. LEVAND (nee Fitzgerald) age 87, beloved wife of the late Victor A., Jr.; loving mother of Leon P. (wife Barbara), Catherine J. (Zehe) Quick (husband Robert), Sharon M. Lyons (husband Theodore), Victor J. (wife Marilyn), Daniel K. (wife Mary Ann), Paul F. (wife Mary Jo), and Joan P. Madormo (husband Richard); devoted grandmother of 22 and great-grandmother of 9; dearest sister of Daniel Fitzgerald (wife Ann) and the late Joan Fullen (husband Edward deceased) and sister-in-law Sr. Marie Carolyn Levand, RSM; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Margaret was born on July, 3 1929 and passed away on January 9, 2017. She was a 62 year resident of Lyndhurst. Margaret was a parishioner of St. Clare Catholic Church for 62 years, and a member of the Lyndhurst Garden Club. She graduated from High School in Pennsylvania and went on to become a homemaker. Margaret enjoyed gardening, square dancing, hairdressing, and Irish music. She was always happy, friendly, wise, outgoing, funny, and witty. She had a true love for nature. Margaret was devoted to her Faith and family, she was kind and generous and will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Margaret at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 4-8 PM.
