Margaret E. “Peggy” Pekarek

MARGARET E. “PEGGY” (nee Wills) PEKAREK age 72, beloved wife for 50 years of the late Edward; loving mother of Edward R. (wife Laura) and Catherine Zimmerman (husband Christopher); devoted grandmother of Maggie and Quinn; cherished daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (nee Wallace) Wills; dearest sister of Catherine Perusek (husband James); dear aunt, great-aunt and friend to many.

Peggy was born on February 7, 1947 and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 1, 2019. She lived in Highland Hts., and for the past 12 years resided in Munson. Peggy graduated from Euclid High School in 1965 and attended Kent State. She was the proud owner and CEO of a medical billing company. Peggy loved classic cars, shopping for her grandchildren and gardening. Her family spent many years boating and hanging out at the yacht club. She loved listening to disco music and Motown. Peggy enjoyed watching the Browns and Cavs. She was a true animal lover and rescued many of them. Peggy was extremely bright and intelligent with an entrepreneur mindset and a very strong work ethic. Peggy will be remembered most as strong willed, social and very friendly. She will be forever missed.

Celebration of Life Service Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 12 NOON at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at Acacia Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Peggy at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) Tuesday MORNING 11-12 Noon.
