MARGARET J. CALA (nee Sparano) age 95; beloved wife of the late Angelo H.; loving mother of Nancy Jurcisek (Al), Louis (Joan) of PA and Marilyn Tuskes (Donald); devoted grandmother of Anne Marie Grapo (John), Debi Hunt (Jim), Angelo, Joe Jurcisek (Sandra), Peggy Clarke (Chuck), Vicki Holan (Tim), Justine LaSpina (Walter), Michael Tuskes (Kim), Christy Johnson (Ron), Veronica Pierman (Dave), John Jurcisek (Jennifer), Louis and great-grandmother of 26; cherished daughter of the late James and Mary (nee Jeanette) Sparano; dearest sister of Antoinette Spicuzza (John), Grayce Walker (Dick) and the late John (Jean, deceased) and Joseph Sparano and Esther Marino (Lou, deceased); dear aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.
Marge was a resident of Mayfield Heights and member of St. Clare Catholic Church for over 50 years. She was active in the Healing Team, Legion of Mary, Renewal and as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Clare and a member of ISDA. Marge attended John Adams High School and lived in Cleveland before moving to Mayfield Heights. As a homemaker, she was a great cook and baker. She also enjoyed sewing and listening to big band music. Her family was her greatest passion. They will fondly remember her as a humble, sweet, kind, independent woman who was “everyone’s mother”.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Entombment following at Knollwood Mausoleum.
