Margaret Butler

Margaret Elaine Butler, age 95, of Chardon, went to heaven Saturday, December 19, 2015.

She was born on August 5, 1920, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Charles and Antonette (nee Stayskal) Jefferson. Margaret attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Chardon. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, playing crossword puzzles and feeding the birds.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Bowes, Peggy Stetka (husband Tim), Joyce Ridenour (husband Greg), Jeanne Hunter (husband Fred), Janice House (husband Rusty); son Charles (wife Brenda), 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Raymond J., brother Dale Jefferson, sister Hazel Jefferson and son-in-law Lew Bowes.

Memorial donations may be made in Margaret’s name to Rescue Village 15463 Chillicothe Road, Russell Twp., OH 44072.

A graveside celebration of life service will be held in spring 2016 at Chardon Cemetery.
