Majel Blowers

MAJEL G. “MAISIE” BLOWERS (nee Himebaugh), age 81; beloved wife of the late Ralph F.; loving mother of Randy Reed (wife Diana), Brian D. Reed, and step-mother Irline Jurgelis, Sue Ocasio, Fred “Matt” Blowers, David Blowers, and Rebecca Guarro; devoted grandmother of Michael and Allison Reed and many step-grandchildren; dearest daughter of the late Neal and Juanita (nee Hess) Himebaugh; dear sister of the late Shirley Snyder, June Ackerman, Betty Costas, Connie Texter and Robert Himebaugh; former wife of the late Lawrence W. Reed; dear aunt of many; she also leaves behind her cherished cat Sammy.

The family suggests contributions may be made in Majel’s memory to DDC Clinic for Special Needs Children, 14567 Madison Rd. Middlefield, OH 44062.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday March 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Chardon United Methodist Church, 515 North St., Chardon. Burial following Riverside Cemetery, Painesville.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Majel at THE DEJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro) 126 SOUTH ST. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) on TUESDAY from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
