MABEL CECILIA MOORE (nee Lessing) age 89. Beloved wife of the late Allen C.; loving mother of Rosemary Ludway (husband John), Angela C. Lustig (husband Dale Taylor), Paul C. (wife Pamela), Allen C., Jr and Sheila J. Moore (husband Jorge Carbo); devoted grandmother of Adrian; dearest sister of Henry C. Lessing (wife Kay) and the late Charles A. (wife Jeanne, deceased) and Benedict F. Lessing (wife Ruth Boudreaux); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Cecilia was a loving caregiver to her husband, Allen “Ace,” for the last nine years of his life. She enjoyed singing with the choir at St. Clare Church before joining Immaculate Conception Church after her move to Willoughby. Her pleasures included playing Bridge, reading and spending time with her friends. She was an intelligent, independent woman who often said she was “not a Namby-Pamby” and will be remembered for loving her family and being the “Family Historian” with a great memory. Mrs. Moore previously worked as a secretary at University Hospitals.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday September 11, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Cecilia at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 4-8 PM.
