Lynda Carol Burke

Lynda Carol Burke (nee Scheer), age 70, resident of South Euclid for 24 years and formerly of Cleveland Heights passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010. Born July 31, 1940, in Flint, Michigan. Loving mother of Colleen Burke (Kenneth Alexander), John Burke (Traci Neligan), George Burke, Maureen Burke (Pearce Cobarr); sister of John Scheer (Michol); dearest grandmother of 9. Preceeded in death by her longtime companion, Robert “Bob” Morehouse, and her parents, Ellsworth “Bud” and Eleanor Scheer. Her greatest loves were her grandkids, playing tennis and gardening. She was a member of the United States Tennis Association. She leaves behind many friends in Ohio and in Naples, Florida where she wintered.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010, with a Memorial Service to follow at 7p.m., at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home 4600 Mayfield Road, South Euclid, Ohio. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of The Western Reserve at 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, Ohio, 44119.
