Lucille Yohe

Lucille Yohe, age 90, entered into eternal life on Friday July 21, 2017 at Holly Hill Nursing Home surrounded by her family and caring staff. Lucille was born in Cleveland on September 27, 1926 to the late John and Katherine (nee Weber) Lutsch. She graduated from Collinwood High School in 1945.

Lucille moved to Mayfield Heights in 1966 and lived there until moving to Milestones Assisted Living in 2012, then to Amelia Grace Assisted Living in 2013.

She was employed by Progressive Insurance as an administrative assistant from 1976 to 1994.  She was a longtime active member of Mayfield United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and attended adult Bible study.

She was an avid gardener and loved to listen and dance to big band music. Her family described her as a Godly person who was sweet, loving and always smiling.

Lucille is survived by her children Rhonda Wien (husband Marc) of Solon, Ron (wife Bernie) of Auburn, and twins Debbie (Wadkins) Posante (husband Greg) of Mayfield Heights and Linda Maurer of Richmond Heights; grandchildren Matt Wien (wife Andrea), Ryan Wien (wife Tori),  Nate Wien, Tyler Wien, Spencer Wien, Stephanie Yohe, Bridget Rechin (husband Kyle), Dan Berry (wife Kara), Grace Berry, Vince Berry, Christina Wadkins, Katie Wadkins, Josh Wadkins, Jackie Wadkins ; Michael Maurer, and Todd Maurer ; sister-in-law Jo Lutsch; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents Lucille is preceded in death by her siblings Catherine Algeri (husband Tony), Gertrude Ridinger (husband Hans), Elisabeth Goss (husband Lewis) and John Lutsch, and Helen Allar (husband John)

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mayfield Church, 7747 Mayfield Rd., Chesterland, 44026 or Alzheimer’s Association P.O. Box 74924 Cleveland, 44194-1007.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday July 27, 2017 at 11 AM at the FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at Whitehaven Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Lucille at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) WEDNESDAY 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
