LUCILLE THERESE CARLO (nee Barille), aged 59 years, beloved wife for 35 years to John A., dearest mother of John, Lisa and Anthony, devoted daughter of the late Nicholas and Lucille (nee Petti) Barille, cherished sister of Joe, Annie, Damian (deceased) and Richie Barille and Mares Pokorny, treasured aunt to many, also survived by her canine companion Nico. Contributions in memory of Lucille suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Lucille was resident of South Euclid for 30 years. She was a parishioner of St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church for 59 years. Lucille graduated from Regina High School and studied accounting at Lakeland College. She worked in finance, for the City of South Euclid, as a babysitter and was a housewife and homemaker. Lucille’s family remembers her as being a second mom to her children’s friends who she loved. Her hobbies and activities included gardening, shopping and cooking. She collected Gone With The Wind and Grinch memorabilia. Lucille’s favorite types of music were Motown and Christmas. She received the most enjoyment in life from taking care of her loved ones and her plants. Some of Lucille’s favorite activities were holiday games, dinner time, Sunday dinner and being around family and her “other children” at holiday time. Her family remembers her as full of life and caring very much about loved ones. Lucille helped everyone and put everyone else first. She loved to shop, make funny jokes and went all out at holiday time.
The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Lucille at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) ON FRIDAY OCT. 14, 2016 FROM 3-8 PM.
