Lucija Lasmanis

LUCIJA LASMANIS (ABOLS) age 91 of Willowick died January 9, 2011 at Heartland of Mentor. Born in Latvia August 8, 1919, she lived in East Cleveland before moving to Willowick 50 years ago. She was employed by the General Electric Co. as a factory worker at their Willoughby Plant.

Mrs. Lasmanis is survived by her children, Julia (Dick) Sams and Modris “Mark”(Linda) Lasmanis, grandchildren Deborah and Richard Sams Jr., Laura, Linda and Mark Lasmanis and Lisa Uchbar, great-grandchildren Nichlos, Amanda, Danielle and Nicholas. She was preceded in death by her husband Kris and six siblings all of Latvia.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. January 13, 2011 at the Cosic Funeral Home 28890 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills, OH. Pastor Brian Lundrum of Mentor Baptist Church will officiate.

The Family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery Cleveland, OH.
