Louis A. Turk

LOUIS A. TURK, age 72; beloved husband of the late Linda L. (nee Heil); loving father of Kathryn “Katie” Hepper (husband Bryan Jr.) and Cheryl Royster (husband William “Bill”) of NC; devoted grandfather of Jessica and Brandon Hepper and Peyton, Weston and Will Royster Jr.; dearest son of the late Louis and Mary; brother of twin Marilyn Schroeder of FL; dear uncle and cousin of many. U.S. Army Veteran.

Mr. Turk died suddenly on Monday August 12 at his home. He was a resident of Mentor for over 40 years and lived many years in Rock Creek.

Lou was half owner of Hillcrest Carpet in Mayfield Heights for over 30 years. He attended Kent State University and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He very much enjoyed golf and was known for having his neighborhood’s most immaculate yard. Lou was very devoted to his family and attended many of his grandkids events. He loved trivia and amusement parks.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lou’s memory to any Breast Cancer Research charity.

Tribute Service Friday, August 16, 2013 at 7:00 PM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) where the family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Lou FRIDAY 2-4 and 5-7 PM.
