Louis was born on September 12, 1932, in Slovenia. He and Angela married in Austria, before immigrating to the United States in December of 1958. They settled in the Cleveland area, where they began building a family for the first 16 years. Together, they moved their family to Willoughby Hills, where they lived for the past 47 years. Strong in his faith, he was currently a parishioner of St. Noel and previously a parishioner of the St. Vitus. He was very proud of his heritage and enjoyed being a member of the Pristava Pensioners. He looked forward to meetings and the time he was able to spend with his friends. Hardworking, he was a talented brick layer and belonged to the Local 5 Brick Layers Union. In his free time, he not only enjoyed woodshop, but gardening, singing, and listening to music as well. His quiet demeanor allowed him to be an amazing listener. Above all things, family was the most important thing to Louis. He was devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. On August 24, 2022, this honest and generous man passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Louis to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
