LORRAINE ROSNER

Bashert and loving hearts cannot be kept apart.  Sam got tired of waiting for his golden girl and she joined him on 2/3/24, two days ahead of when Sam left on 2/5/23.   Lorraine dedicated her life to Sam, her children and family.    Robin and Sam provided care to her in recent years, dealing with the challenges of dementia.   Robin and grand-dog Lali were with her as she comfortably slipped away in the blessings of her home of over 50 years.  Born in Detroit (1922) to Albert and Alice Ziskind who at one time lived next door, she and Sam would have been married 75 years together this August.  

She was an outstanding seamstress, embroiderer, housekeeper, exceptional baker and volunteer, but above all else a loving mom, wife and good friend. Clearly the secret to Sam's longevity, she was always with him, in sickness and in health.  Survivors include daughters Robin and Susan, Lali, sister-in-law, Bernice Ziskind, nieces Marcie Furby, Lynne Jones and Penny White, dearest friends Larry and Joanne Adelman, and wonderful, caring neighbors.  Predeceased by her parents and brothers Wilfred and Gerald Ziskind.  Unmeasurable thanks and hugs to Tod and Jennifer. 

  Donations, if desired, suggested to the Simon Weisenthal Foundation or Pets for the Elderly. Graveside services to be held Wednesday, February 7th, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 26700 Aurora Rd., Bedford Heights, at 1 PM. Rabbi Matt Cohen, officiating. Reception following from 2-5 PM at Cleveland Marriott East, Medina Room. Arrangements entrusted to THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
