Loretta Duca

LORETTA J. DUCA (nee Bystry) age 77; beloved wife for 50 years of the late Joseph J. “Jay”; loving mother of Dana (wife Stephanie) and the late Darryl; devoted grandmother of Joseph R. and Steven W.; cherished daughter of the late Michael and Katherine (nee Novak) Bystry; dearest sister of Kay Richards (husband David) and the late Helen Mancuso, Margaret Lubich, Ann Hathaway, Andrew Bystry (wife Mary Frances), Bertha Becar and Peter Bystry; dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.

Lori was a resident of Lyndhurst for over 40 years and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. After growing up and graduating from high school in Pennsylvania, she worked as a secretary for General Electric in Cleveland. She enjoyed playing golf, bridge, listening to Polka music and cooking. She relished spending time with her family and any special occasion that brought them all together. Lori will be fondly remembered as a determined, strong-willed woman who was caring and loving.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 24, 2014 at St Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 11 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Lori at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) THURSDAY 3-5 & 6-8 PM.
