Lois Vance

LOIS MARIE VANCE (nee Uhlir), aged 89 years, beloved wife for 55 years to the late Lt. Commander George John Vance (Vystrcil) (Cleveland Heights police), dearest mother of Mark Edward and Craig Douglas Vance, loving grandmother of Jason Matthew Vance, treasured daughter of the late Edward J. and Frances R. (nee Marous) Uhlir. Lois is also survived by cherished cousins, fellow artists and many devoted friends. She was an artist and teacher at Cooper School of Art, The Art Institute, and Cuyahoga Community College.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the funeral home at 2:00 PM. Private burial at Highland Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Lois at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) on SATURDAY 12 NOON UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.
