Linda S. Faerber

LINDA S. FAERBER (nee Scheiman) age 68, beloved wife for 48 years of Pete; loving mother of George III and Michele DiCillo (husband Thomas); devoted grandmother of Angelina and Sophia DiCillo; cherished daughter of the late Robert and Dolores (nee Hartman) Scheiman; oldest sister of 7.

Linda was born April 5, 1951 in Fort Wayne, IN and passed away peacefully August 12, 2019, after a brief illness.  She was a resident of Mayfield Heights for 46 years after moving from IN. Linda was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church. She graduated from Bishops Luers High School in Fort Wayne, IN.  Linda loved and was very dedicated to her work as a Day Care Assistant. When she was first sick with Lymphoma, the parents of the children and staff of the daycare provided her family with meals and gift cards. Linda loved her family dearly. She enjoyed her many plants and her weekly train rides on Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. Linda would tell Pete as she looked out the train window “I wish I could cut out this beautiful piece of land and take it home with me”.  She liked to have breakfast in the park. Linda will be remembered as a selfless, loving, helpful woman that was family oriented. She would give you the shirt off her back. Linda will be greatly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 16, 2019 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Burial following at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Linda at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
