Linda Palko

Linda M. Palko, of Lyndhurst, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2024. She was the loving daughter of the late John and Patricia Palko. 

She was a graduate of Charles F. Brush High School, ’73, received her Bachelor of Education Degree from Cleveland State University, ’77, and also received her Master’s Degree in Education from Cleveland State University. 

She was a faithful and devoted member of St. Gregory the Great, Christ the King, and St. John of the Cross Parishes. She spent many hours of her time and talent to fundraise and assist those in need of her time. She provided Christmas Gift Bags for the children of each parish. 

She taught elementary education at St. Rita and St. Gregory the Great schools. She was nominated by one of her students at St. Gregory’s for “Teacher of the Year” 1993-1994 of which she received an award from WJW – Channel 8. 

She was a kind, generous, and faithful friend to many. She would send cards and notes to lift other’s spirits or give a telephone call. She supported many charitable organizations. She will be missed by all whose lives she has touched. 

Memorial contributions in memory of Linda suggested to St. John of the Cross Parish, 140 Richmond Rd., Euclid, OH 44143 or to a charity of your choice. 

Visitation for friends on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024, from 9:30 - 10 AM at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM. Entombment All Souls Mausoleum.
