Leslie Balas

LESLIE E. BALAS age 57; cherished son of Matilda (nee Ellis) and the late Ronald Balas; dearest brother of Ronald, Jr. (wife Karen), Robert (wife Elaine) and the late George (wife Eilene); treasured nephew of Robert and Norma Balas; dear uncle of many.

Les was born on September 20, 1959 in Cleveland and passed away on August 24, 2017. He was a resident of Euclid for almost 30 years, formerly of Willoughby. Les graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1977 and worked in facility maintenance. He loved fishing, muscle cars, gun shooting and the Browns. Les will be remembered most as a loveable, gentle, very laid-back man who was always smiling. He was a prankster with a good sense of humor. Les will be greatly missed.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Les at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY 3-5 & 6-8 PM with a Tribute Service at 7:30 PM. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Private burial at Hillcrest Cemetery. Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
