Lefkothea Michael

Lefkothea N. “Thuly” (nee Nenos) Michael, 88, of Willowick, passed away July 21, 2014, in Eastlake. She was born July 23, 1925, in Nashua, N.H.

Thuly was a resident of Willowick for five years after moving from Mentor. She was a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral. After emigrating from Greece years ago, Thuly was a homemaker and great cook. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her children and grandchildren!

Survivors are her son, Steve Michaels (wife Sharon) of Eastlake; daughter, JoAnn Drozin (husband Paul “Skip”) of Concord; “Yiayia” to Melissa Michaels, Dennis Langdon (wife Stacy), Kevin, Anthony and Austin Drozin; and great-grandmother of Max and Zak Langdon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Michael; and one sister in Greece.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 3352 Mayfield Rd., Cleveland, OH 44118. Fr. Stephen Callos will be officiating. Burial following in Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Thuly from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Road & Rt. 91). Trisagion Service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
