LEE JANETT JEFFERYS (nee Lemons), aged 71 years, beloved mother of Angela T. Hadsell and Jeffrey J. Hadsell, cherished daughter of the late Harvey J. and Lula (nee Reynolds) Lemons, dear sister of Ellen Rudyk (husband Thomas), Duane Lemons (partner Jane Darroch), David Lemons, William Kish and the late DiAnne Rolf (husband Stew Benedict) and Sharon Kish, loving aunt and grand-aunt.
Janett was born on July 1, 1948 in Norman, Oklahoma, and passed away on May 10, 2020. She was a resident of Cleveland Heights for the last 25 years, and sang in the choir at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Janett graduated from Westlake High School, and earned her master’s degree in biology from Cleveland State University. She worked as a chemist for Dow Chemical. Janett enjoyed reading, playing bridge, knitting, and cooking. She adored her children and her pets, and looked forward to family reunions and visiting with her friends. Janett was kind, funny, and talented, as well as helpful and generous, and she will be missed by all who knew her.
