Lee Yung Hoang, age 51, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 23, 2024, surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on September 8, 1972, to Quan Du and Xieu Luoc Hoang in Rach Gia, Vietnam and escaped from Vietnam with his family to America in 1979.
Lee was the founder of Small Business Solutions Technology and worked as an IT Consultant/Network Engineer for over 26 years for clients such as Strassman Insurance Services, Seiberkeck Insurance Partners, Lost Nation Sports Park, Bill Reynolds Heating and Air Conditioning, and Aerotech Enterprises, who describe Lee as "best in class" and a "brilliant IT professional".
Lee was also a gifted artist and had started his college education as an architecture major at Ohio State University before switching to Computer Information Science at Kent State University. His greatest joy was to make everyone happy. Anyone who knew Lee would describe him as generous, selfless, and he would do anything to help at a moment's notice. His infectious smile and fun energy also made him the life of every party.
Lee is survived by his loving wife Hsueh-Lin (nee Huang); his parents; mother-in-law Kao-Tzu Huang-Lin; daughter Annie-Lee; brothers Brian Hoang and Tim Hoang (Phan); sisters Mindy Kosir (Ben) and Mimi Kuehn (Rob); brothers-in-law Ming-Zhe Huang (Fang) and Ming-Zhang Huang (Fei); sisters-in-law Hsueh-Ching (Xian) and Hsueh-Ping (Guo-Bin); and his many cousins, nieces, and nephews who look up to him with admiration.
