LEAH MAE KLUK (nee Single) age 83, beloved wife of the late Thomas; loving mother of Michelle Nowak (husband Ronald), Lesley Somrak (fiancé Stephen Harrigan), and Elizabeth “Libby” Young (husband Bradley); devoted grandmother of Jordan Nowak (wife Emma), James and John Paul Nowak, Kristen Hensel (husband Ryan), Michael Somrak (wife Alexija), Cooper, Caitlyn and Ella Young and great-grandmother of Lincoln and Mason Nowak and Charlotte Hensel; cherished daughter of the late Andrew and Alice (nee Botos) Single; dearest sister of Marilyn Kilo (husband Joe), Andrea, Jim and the late Dolores Single; dear aunt and great-aunt and friend of many.
Leah was born October 4th, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio. She grew up in Cleveland and went to Shaw High School where she graduated in 1957. She then attended Kent State University. Leah was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother but also was an executive secretary at Stouffers. Leah loved to exercise and loved to travel especially to St Petersburg, Florida. At one time she loved golf and bowling, but she especially loved to cook and was excellent at what she prepared. Leah’s family will remember her as a social, loving, happy, and positive person who was always smiling. This hardworking lady who was devoted to her family and her faith passed away on Tuesday September 24, 2024, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Contributions may be made in memory of Leah to St Helen Church in Newbury, Ohio.
Relatives and friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Monday, September 30, 2024, at 10 AM at St Helen Catholic Church 12060 Kinsman Rd, Newbury, OH. Burial following at Munn Cemetery in Newbury. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Leah at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND, 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)
