Lawrence J. Demaria

LAWRENCE J. DeMARIA, age 96. Beloved husband of the late Josephine (nee Amodeo); loving father of Sally Figush, Maria Linda Kania (husband Robert) and Darlene Sebastiano (husband Michael); devoted grandfather of Tina Finn, Richard Kania (wife Karie), Jason Kania (fiance Roxanne Paguio), Michael Sebastiano (wife Denise), Kimberly Ruggeri (husband Bob), Kelly Schmidt (husband Rich) and great-grandfather of 10; dear brother of Anne Battaglia and the late Rose DeMaria. Larry proudly served his country as a World War II U.S. Army Veteran and was a part of the Offices of Strategic Services (OSS) which today is the Green Berets Special Forces and part of the C.I.A. Larry also is a member of the Knights of Columbus Gilmour Council #310.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 5, 2013 at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following with Military Honors at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Larry at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
