Lavone Yahraus

LAVONE A. YAHRAUS (nee Sumney), age 91, beloved wife of the late William E.; loving mother of William A. (wife Peggy) of Michigan, Donna L. Medina (John Cusick) (husband Tony, deceased) of Wickliffe and Mark A. (wife Cindy) of Willoughby; devoted grandmother of Jeffrey, Michael (wife Jeniffer), Joseph (wife Yanru), Daniel, Abigail Price (husband Joel) and Emily and great-grandmother of the late Eloise Rose Price; cherished daughter of the late William and Edith (nee Steele) Sumney.

Lavone was born on May 8, 1925 in Cleveland and passed away on September 15, 2016. Lavone graduated from Collinwood High School in 1944 and was a Machinist and Inspector for Commercial Screw Products in Willowick. She was a member of the Church of the Epiphany in Euclid. Lavone taught yoga at the Willowick Senior Center up to two years ago. She was a painter and could do anything with paint, but especially loved watercolor. She also loved gardening and gardenias were her favorite flower. Lavone loved to bake and always had sweets in the house. She was also known to make a great macaroni and cheese. Lavone loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
