Lana R. Knotek

LANA R. KNOTEK (nee Angelo) age 67, beloved wife for 37 years of David; loving mother of Kristen Morelli (husband Brian), April Lagman (husband Curtis) and the late Daniel; devoted grandmother of Matthew, Jenna, Ava and Lucy; cherished daughter of the late Frank and Lillian  (nee Mongelluzzi) Angelo; dearest sister of the late James Angelo; dear aunt  of Aleese and Jimmy Angelo; treasured daughter-in-law of Robert and Marian Knotek; fond sister-in-law of Joan and Rob Hinkle and Robert Knotek.

Lana R. Knotek was born October 23, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away October 17, 2020. She grew up in South Euclid and most recently was a resident of Mayfield Village for 8 years and prior to that Mayfield Heights. Lana graduated from Regina High School in 1970 and attended Tri-C College. She worked in medical billing at Hillcrest Ambulance and most importantly a homemaker. Lana was a avid reader, loved to walk and shop but most of all loved taking care of her grandkids. She enjoyed listening to the Beatles and was a Cleveland Browns fan. Lana was born to be a mother with a loving and caring heart. Lana will be remembered as a woman with a big heart that loved beyond bounds and cared for everyone she met. She was such a friendly person with a great sense of humor. Lana will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 11 AM at St. Clare Catholic Church. Burial following at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Lana at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) THURSDAY MORNING 9:30 – 10:30 AM.
