Kristina Ferlinc

Prayers of Christian Burial for Kristina (Namestnik) Ferlinc, 81, of Wickliffe, will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Mrs. Ferlinc died on Tuesday at Slovene Home for the Aged in Cleveland.

She was born on Nov. 24, 1935 in Slovenia. She resided in Wickliffe for 35 years, previously in Cleveland. She had worked at Cleveland Twist Drill and also Kromex, both in Cleveland. She was a member of St. Vitus Catholic Church, and also attended St. Mary’s on Holmes Ave. She was a member of the Stajerski Klub. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, was an excellent cook, and enjoyed the holiday celebrations with family and friends. She was especially devoted to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Christine Ferlinc, and her grandchildren Matthew Bartolotta and Jill Bartolotta. She was one of eight siblings, all in Slovenia.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Kristina on Saturday from 10 am until the 12 Noon services at The Zevnic-Cosic Funeral Home, 28890 Chardon Rd., Willoughby Hills. Fr. John Kumse will officiate. Burial arrangements are private. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Activities Department at the Slovene Home for the Aged, 18621 Neff Rd., Cleveland, OH 44119.
