Kevin Maccartney

Kevin M. MacCartney, 60, of Kirtland, passed suddenly May 29, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 17, 1955 in Cleveland to the late Norman and Irene (nee Meyers) MacCartney.

Kevin grew up in Highland Heights and graduated from Mayfield High School in 1974. He lived in Mayfield Heights before moving to Kirtland 10 years ago.

Kevin was a master auto mechanic and worked at Dave’s Auto Care in Willoughby for the past two year. Prior to that he worked for Ron’s Nobel Shell in Cleveland Heights for over 25 years.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Susan (nee Simmons) and his sons Rick and Jason.

Services will be announced at a later date. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Arrangements by DeJohn Funeral Home and Crematory of Chardon, (formerly Ritondaro), 126 South St (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square).
