Kenneth Fruscella

KENNETH J. FRUSCELLA age 76, beloved husband for 54 years of Gloria (nee DeRose); loving father of Kenneth (wife Linda), Dianne Delanis (husband Mark), and Ronald (wife Kathlene); devoted grandfather of Nicole Churchill (Dan), Daniel and Eric Eiermann, Michael and Robert Fruscella, Joseph and Christopher Delanis, Nicole, Brianna and Ronnie Fruscella, great-grandfather of John and Walter; cherished son of the late John and Laura (nee Pantalone) Fruscella; treasured brother of Pam Forniti (husband Robert) and the late Dolores Sari (husband Raymond); dearest brother-in-law of Ronald DeRose (wife Patti); dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Ken was born on November 27, 1939 in Cleveland and passed away on November 28, 2015. He was a resident of Twinsburg for 20 years previously of South Euclid. Ken graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1958 where he was Class President and Drum Major and attended University of Austin. He was an usher and Eucharistic minister at St. Rita Catholic Church for 20 years. Before Ken moved to Twinsburg he was a faithful parishioner at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Ken was the owner/operator of a cleaning company for many years. He played keyboard in a rock band and accordion in a polka band.

Ken loved traveling with his wife Gloria, especially on cruises. He was an avid bowler and coached CYO baseball and basketball. Ken enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams, the Indians, Browns and OSU football. His family will remember Ken as fun-loving, outgoing, giving and having a great sense of humor. Ken was a very generous man to the point where he never said no to anyone.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, December 5, 2015 at St. Rita Catholic Church 33200 Baldwin Rd., Solon, OH 44139 at 10 AM. Burial following at Crown Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ken at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) FRIDAY 3-8 PM.
